I've always been passionate about children... as a little girl I loved taking care of little cousins. At 23 I had my first child - Leonardo, and I fell in love with motherhood. At 30, my youngest, Manuela, came to reaffirm what I always thought – that I was born to be a mother.
At 15 I started working in multinationals, and at 35, after 8 years in a pharmaceutical industry, I decided to take a break to take better care of my children. In the middle of my break, my sister-in-law asked me to register the pregnancy of my second nephew... Vitor.
And that rehearsal changed my life.
And so it all started... Free photography courses, after Photoshop, her record, my nephew's record... and I fell in love.
It was there that I understood what I was born for... to record the love between families. For me, photography is not putting a person in front of my camera and pressing the button... it's seeing how that person relates to the world, it's respecting their desires and fears, and seeking their beauty, their essence. And that's what inspires me.
Time passed, and I eat a good Virgo, each time studying and deepening myself, until I decided take the profession seriously and go back to the classroom... and in July 2019 I graduated in Photography.
And so is the story of Estúdio RJóia Fotografia, a story full of obstacles, emotional tears, a lot of baby smell, round tummies from my pregnant women and smiles from my families. A story full of a lot of study, dedication, late nights. In 2019 I started teaching too, so our history is filled with my students, who I have great affection for and hope to be able to contribute to their growth.
I always call babies MINE. Why do I call it that? Because for me they are mine. Everyone who passes takes a little piece of me, of my affection, of my love, and also always leaves a smile, a lesson, a affection, a hug.
And here I am... happy and blessed by God with a huge dream coming true...
